I came into the disability sector after experiencing the NDIS from the participant side, through my own journey and alongside close family members.
At the same time, I was meeting providers and seeing how the industry operated from the inside. What became clear to me was how important integrity is in this space — and how easily it can be compromised.
I’ve seen what happens when support workers come into someone’s home and get everything wrong. Instead of helping, it adds stress and becomes another problem to manage.
