Our Story

Accelerate Care was founded on lived experience — of disability, of caring roles, and of knowing firsthand what it looks like when support works and when it doesn’t.

From the start, the goal has been to build a service where people feel safe, understood, and genuinely looked after — and where support workers are chosen for who they are, not just what they can do.

How We Work

Every client is different, so we take time to understand your personality, your needs, and your routines before matching you with a support worker. We don’t just look at availability — we think about compatibility, trust, and whether you’d actually want this person in your life.

Our team is local, many are young, and plenty are bilingual. A lot of them carry their own lived experience. What they have in common is emotional intelligence, consistency, and the kind of care that can’t be taught from a manual.
